Agents form the interface between the control system and the Alarm Control Center (ACC). The agent's task is clear: record any messages from the respective control system and forward them to the Alarm Control Center. If a malfunction resolves itself, this is also communicated to the core system and the alarm is terminated.
The agent returns the result of the alarm as well as the feedback and acknowledgments from the participants to the control system. The information is then evaluated accordingly there. If the connected system provides the option of direct communication, a variable can also be set or a message can be acknowledged, for example.
All agents also contain a message load monitor. With the Monitoring option, the limit of the message load is monitored and a warning is triggered if it is exceeded.
