The PCS 7 agent receives messages from the process control system SIMATIC PCS7 and directs you to the Alarm Control Center continue. The agent enables you to react quickly and flexibly to reports.
It supports two modes: Configuration of the messages via the SIMATIC Manager and the Using the ACC Control for PCS 7 and WinCC.
In this mode, the PCS 7 agent directly uses the SIMATIC Manager and the messages configured in it.
The configuration of which user text blocks the message text should consist of is freely selectable. Only one additional text block is required in the SIMATIC Manager to define the alarm group, i.e. the recipient group. Once this has been done, the agent can react to alarms from PCS 7, compile the message text from various user text blocks and send the message to the previously defined alarm group. The agent for PCS 7 can of course also be used to create a Email Alert, one push message or a SMS alert to be executed.
The ACC Control enables quick and easy configuration of the alarm directly in Graphics Runtime.
