From December 2025: ACC V26

ACC V26 not only brings new features, but also a new cadence: From now on, every ACC version will be released in December. This means a reliable release date for you, year after year. ACC V26 will kick things off in December 2025.

The most important innovations at a glance:

Technical modernization of architecture

The ACC's software architecture has been fundamentally modernized. This means greater stability, improved performance, and long-term maintainability.
New ACC modules are developed exclusively with .NET 8—and starting with ACC V26 Service Pack 1, with .NET 10. This ensures that ACC always remains at the cutting edge of technology. We rely on modern, cloud-enabled technologies such as HTTPS and SignalR for communication between modules.

Strengthening IT security

Security is the focus:
Existing protection mechanisms have been specifically enhanced to meet the requirements of modern IT structures – especially in hybrid and cloud environments. A new authentication service ensures that connections to the ACC are authenticated according to the latest security standards.

Independent user management for the ACC app

With ACC V26, you can completely manage user management for the ACC app yourself. Changes via our ACC Support or manually maintaining Excel lists are no longer necessary. From now on, you can create, edit, or delete users independently in the new user management system – quickly, easily, and flexibly. This saves time, reduces effort, and gives you full control over daily operations.

Cloud connector for agents

The new Cloud Connector significantly expands the application possibilities of the ACC. Different control systems can be seamlessly integrated into cloud-based environments. This allows all on-premises ACC agents to be connected directly to the ACC in the cloud. At the same time, modern authentication and encryption ensure maximum security for the connection between the customer network and the cloud. For you, this means greater flexibility in distributed IT structures and future-proof integration into modern cloud architectures – with the highest level of operational security.

ACC in the Cloud – current status and outlook

Last year was all about profound technical modernizations for us. Both the ACC architecture and the agent interface were fundamentally redesigned. This laid the foundation for making ACC usable as a cloud solution – secure, powerful, and future-proof.

The foundation was already laid in ACC V25:

To enable cloud operation, we've integrated modern authentication for the REST agent and a new user authentication process. This allows customers to log in to ACC conveniently and securely using their Microsoft Entra ID.

The following components are currently available in cloud operation:

• Agents: REST, Email
• Channels: Smartphone, email, SIP voice output, Swisscom eAlarm

The next step with ACC V26:
The new version introduces the Cloud Connector. It enables agents from the customer network to connect directly and securely to the ACC in the cloud – flexibly, seamlessly, and with state-of-the-art encryption. This significantly expands the application possibilities of the ACC and opens up new options for hybrid and cloud-based scenarios.

Outlook:
In the coming year, we will continue to consistently drive forward our technical modernization to expand our cloud portfolio and offer you even greater performance, security, and convenience.

Important information about the ACC

Reminder: Discontinuation of ACC V22 as of October 31, 2025

Please note: ACC version V22 will be officially discontinued on October 31, 2025. From this point on, no extensions will be available, and technical support will also end.
Are you still using ACC V22? Then we recommend upgrading to the latest version early. Our sales team will be happy to advise you on possible upgrade options:
sales@alarmcontrolcenter.de.

Since ACC V25: Channel ASCOM OAP replaces channel ASCOM Pager

With ACC V25, the ASCOM OAP channel has replaced the previous ASCOM Pager channel. Our sales team contacted affected customers directly, and together we developed solutions to ensure the desired alarm channel continues to function reliably.

Elimination of certain SMS functions from ACC V26

The ACC Android app (SMS/TCP) for SMS and TCP channels has already been discontinued as of October 31, 2024. Some features were still available, but will be permanently discontinued starting with ACC V26:

• Check participant status via SMS
• WinCC tag setter via SMS
• Trigger notifications via SMS

Important: All functions of the SMS sending channels via mobile terminal and smartphone (push notification) are not affected by this change and remain available without restrictions.
