ACC V24 SP 1: Service pack available

The first service pack for ACC V24 has been released. Thanks to your feedback, we were able to make targeted improvements to the current version. We thank you for your feedback and support.

The following optimizations are included in service pack 1:

  • ACC redundancy manager:
    With the ACC redundancy manager, configuring and operating a redundant ACC becomes even easier. The manager is a central component on the ACC server that monitors and controls redundancy.
  • Compatibility with V24 and V24 SP1 is guaranteed for the following systems:
    • WinCC OA 3.19
    • PCS neo V4.1
    • WinCC RT Professional (TIA V19)
    • WinCC Unified (TIA V19)
  • Desigo CC V7: 
    Compatibility with V24 and V24 SP1 can be assumed. 
    (Testing will be completed by April 2024)

In addition, other minor bug fixes and improvements have been made that further enhance the stability and performance of the ACC.

Further information about the service pack, including the associated download link, was sent to contract customers as part of a support mailing on March 14, 2024.

ACC Cloud Readiness

We look forward to presenting the first “Cloud Ready” ACC version to you soon. In the first step, this version will come with a REST interfaceand a smartphone and email channel . The authentication processes and a security check by cirosec GmbH have already been completed. The IT security experts checked the ACC and the interfaces for security gaps and security risks and provided us with suggestions for an even more secure operation of the ACC in the cloud.

We will finalize and implement the latest audit results and launch the first pilot project with a long-standing customer shortly. At the same time, we are continuing to work on a cloud connector that will enable all ACC agents to be used in the cloud.

We are proud of the project's success and look forward to being able to present our first performance report to you soon.

    Sindelfingen Factory 56/Böblingen Congress Hall
    We are excited to be part of the "New Manufacturing World 2024" congress in Sindelfingen/Böblingen. Together with Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Dudenhöffer, Drees & Sommer is organizing a top meeting of the European manufacturing industry to discuss the latest technologies and current issues in the industrial sector. The congress program includes keynotes, panel discussions and exhibitions. We will be presenting the Alarm Control Center at the event with our own stand.

  • SPS – Smart Production Solutions | November 12-14, 2024
    Nuremberg Trade Fair
    We are very pleased to announce that, after a year's break, we will be back at SPS this year with our own stand. You will find us in Hall 6 on the joint stand "IT meets Automation".

Upcoming discontinuation: ACC V21

ACC version V21 will be discontinued by 31.10.2024 .
After discontinuation, no extensions will be available for this version. In addition, technical support will also be terminated.
Are you affected by the discontinuation? Then please contact our sales team at sales@alarmcontrolcenter.de. We will be happy to advise you on an upgrade.

 

New colleagues at the AIF

We are very pleased that our ACC development team has been further strengthened by our new colleague Steffen. We are also looking forward to welcoming another developer colleague from April.In this official way, we would like to welcome Steffen warmly !!!
