the year 2024 is coming to an end and we look back on twelve eventful months full of exciting projects. At the end of this eventful year, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your trust, your valuable partnership and the great cooperation.

In this last newsletter issue for 2024, we have put together exciting topics for you: Look forward to an overview of our new release, ACC V25, which was successfully published in November, as well as a review of our trade fair appearance at the SPS 2024.

We present

Alarm Control Center V25

The new release ACC V25 has been available since November. With this release, we are pleased to present you an even better and more comprehensive version of our alarm software. An overview of the most important new features of ACC V25 can be found on our website. 

New features and improvements include:

  • HTTPS channel and TETRAcontrol channel
  • Steps towards “ACC in the cloud”: modern authentication, testing with the first agents/channels
  • Further improvements:
    • New monitoring tests
    • Optimization of the ACC setup
    • Filtering in statistics by hostname possible
    • Monitoring: Simplified configuration
    • Extension of the REST interface
    • Desigo CC Agent: Alarm groups can be duplicated in the user interface

Note for contract customers

Customers with an ongoing upgrade contract receive the ACC V25 within the next few weeks by email. You don't need to do anything else.

Outlook: ACC V25.1

In March 2025 the first service pack for ACC V25 will be available. This will include the following new features:

  • Improved compatibility with SQL Server 2022
  • Support of redundant OPC UA servers through the OPC UA agent
  • Extension of alarm filters: Follow-up message filters can be set permanently
  • ACC Control extension: Improved search and filter options

Further information will follow in the coming months.

 

 

SPS 2024 – Thank you for joining us!

From November 12 to 14, 2024, we were at the SPS – Smart Production Solutions in Nuremberg and took the opportunity to present ourselves and our alarm software Alarm Control Center at the joint booth “IT meets Automation”. A special highlight was the presentation of our latest release, ACC V25.

But not only that: We were able to show you the Alarm Control Center in all its range and exchange exciting ideas about its possible applications. The personal contact with you - our customers, interested parties and partners - was the absolute highlight of the trade fair for us. We had many inspiring conversations, received new feedback and took away great ideas from the world of automation. It was simply great to see so many familiar and new faces at our booth. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and of course to the organizers of the fair – everything went wonderfully.

With our three-person team on site and the great support from the Siemens network, we were able to discuss many interesting topics and are already looking forward to continuing the dialogue.

The SPS 2025 is already marked in our calendar and we hope to welcome you again in person next year.
