Alarm Control Center V4.14

The new version 4.14 will be available from the end of November 2017.
ACC V4.14 offers the following innovations for you:

  • Release for PCS7 V9.0
    With the new ACC version 4.14 there is now compatibility with PCS7 V9.0. With the use of PCS7 V9.0 and the ACC V4.14, in addition to investment and future security, you are primarily relying on maximum flexibility for plant expansions or modernization projects.

 

  • Release for Windows Server 2016
    The new ACC version 4.14 also supports Windows Server 2016. This ensures the future reliability and security of the Alarm Control Center.

 

  • Support LTE terminal PLS8
    The SMS terminal channel is now compatible with the mobile terminal PLS8. In addition to GSM (2G) and UMTS (3G), the mobile radio terminal PLS8 also supports LTE (4G). This means that SMS transmission is also supported in modern mobile phone networks.

 

  • Internet SMS channel (Vodafone)
    Would you like to send SMS via the Internet? With our new channel, you can send SMS via the Internet with a major customer account from Vodafone. This allows you to send a large number of SMS within a short period of time and gives you more flexible customization options when sending your SMS.

 

  • Extended function with dead man monitoring option
    Do your employees work at individual workstations or in dangerous areas? The ACC dead man monitor notifies you immediately if an employee does not report back within an agreed time. It is irrelevant whether the employee's smartphone is still functional. You will receive reliable information from the ACC when an employee is in an emergency and where he is. Key new features of the option include:
    • You are now shown directly in WinCC/PCS7 which people are being monitored and what their status is.
    • The smartphone now registers the employee's movements and cyclically sends alive messages to the ACC. It is therefore no longer necessary to press a button on the smartphone display. If the smartphone is not moved for a certain period of time, the ACC automatically triggers an alarm.

 

  • REST interface
    Do you want to send messages to the Alarm Control Center from many end devices or do you have many clients as alarm triggers? With the help of our new REST interface, you can easily and reliably send messages from any system to the Alarm Control Center. The REST interface also makes it possible to send messages from multiple clients at the same time.
