In order to ensure reliable transmission of the alarms from the production control system to your end device, we annually update our Alarm Control Center. Each version includes numerous innovations that further improve the overall usability and functionality of the Alarm Control Center.
As of version V22, the basic functions of the Monitoring option included with every ACC. The option has also been expanded to include additional features.
You have an intuitively operable and clear interface for configuring and displaying the runtime data. In addition, the entire alarm path can now be fully monitored - from the PLC to the end device. Cyclic tests check the availability of control systems, agents, channels, the telecommunications infrastructure and all other ACC components. If irregularities occur, the administrators are notified immediately.
Greater comfort leads to greater acceptance among users, automated settings to more efficiency in alarm management.
For ACC V22 we have more new features in our Apps for iOS and Android integrated. The participant status can now be automatically reset to Present after a configurable time interval. For example, the employee receives After a meeting, for example, the notifications on his smartphone are automated again without having to set the participant status manually.
In addition, the apps have been expanded with the function that contact persons for plants/plants can be displayed and contacted in the app. The password can now also be reset by the user directly in the app. Man-in-the-middle protection also protects the apps from external attacks and enables even safer use.
The function has also been optimized so that messages can be accepted or rejected directly in the push notification. This is quick and it is no longer necessary to open the notification on the app. With the Apple Watch, you can now accept or dismiss the notification right on your watch.
Everything in view. The dashboard, with its simple and clear user interface, represents the start page of the ACC. The different information about the ACC is displayed transparently in individual widgets. With the V22, the dashboard has now been expanded. The newly developed channel and agent widgets show the alerts of the last 8 or 24 hours per channel or agent. The added performance widget provides information about the current utilization of hard disk, CPU and RAM.

As of version V22, the Swisscom AG eAlarm alarm service can be connected to the ACC with the Swisscom eAlarm channel. With eAlarm, emergency services and employees can be alerted and notified quickly, easily and securely. The new channel enables messages to be sent to pagers, by e-mail or by SMS via the Swiss provider's network.
The OPC Unified Architecture is a platform-independent, service-oriented architecture. It integrates the functionality of the previous OPC Classic standard into an expandable framework. The previous agent in the ACC for this standard made it possible to read the necessary data such as message text or alarm group from the OPC server and then use it for alarming.
ACC V22 now has an extended ACC user interface to easily transfer existing connections with the OPC DA standard to the new world. This means that the existing configuration of an OPC DA agent in Excel can simply be transferred to the Excel template of the OPC UA agent and imported directly using an import function. The OPC UA agent supports all common OPC UA security mechanisms and is integrated into the new Monitoring option.
The Teamdispo option is used to display and manage participants in service teams. Participants can be activated or deactivated for each shift using a matrix by ticking and unchecking in a service team. Additional functions have been added to the option in the new ACC V22 version for optimized display and easier handling.
The "Description" and "Status" columns can now be hidden as required and the column height can be flexibly varied. The option also offers an improved tool tip and is generally displayed in the clear "Compact" theme.
