In order to ensure reliable transmission of the alarms from the production control system to the end device, we annually update the software version of our Alarm Control Center (ACC).
This means that a new version of our alarm management solution is available to you every year. Each version includes numerous innovations - new features and optimizations that further improve the overall usability and scope of the Alarm Control Center.
In addition, the new versions are compatible with the current control system versions as well as the versions of Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft SQL Server.
The new ACC version V23 will be available from December 2022.
The ACC user interface has undergone a complete facelift for version V23. The new design impresses on the one hand with even more user-friendliness and on the other hand with a significantly higher color contrast for better readability - even in difficult lighting conditions.
In the course of the facelift, dialogs, input fields and control elements were revised in a user-oriented manner and the header, the navigation bar, table views and the drag & drop functionality used were optimized.
Our goal: to offer you an even more intuitive operation with an improved display. And all this in our new corporate design.
The new ACC user interface impresses with the following new functions:
The volume of the available ringtones in the ACC App has been increased to ensure successful alerting even in loud ambient noise.
In addition, the ACC app has been supplemented with additional ring tones - each in a version "loud" and with "increasing volume". An increasing volume helps to prevent the ear of a person being alerted from being exposed to a ringtone at full volume, should they be in the middle of a telephone conversation. This gives them the opportunity to remove the smartphone from their ear in good time as soon as the ringtone sounds.
In addition, the notification display of a disconnected internet connection has been optimized for version V23. It no longer appears immediately, but only after a few seconds if there is still no internet connection. Error messages are thus prevented.
Best protection against data loss: The new version V23 offers an automatic backup of your ACC configuration and the data contained in the ACC.
The automatic backup takes place according to an individually defined schedule. The following intervals are available: daily, weekly, monthly.
The backup data can be used to easily and quickly restore the current status of your ACC or to import it in case of a new installation. In this way, you are optimally protected against the loss of data or your configuration settings.
Cooperation with the Swiss telecommunications company Swisscom.
As of version V22, the Swisscom AG eAlarm alarm service can be connected to the ACC with the Swisscom eAlarm channel. With eAlarm, emergency services and employees can be alerted and notified quickly, easily and securely. The new channel enables messages to be sent to pagers, by e-mail or by SMS via the Swiss provider's network.
The newly developed agent for Desigo CC serves as the new connection to the integrated building management platform from Siemens AG and replaces the previous connection via an ESPA 4.4.4 interface.

The new e-mail channel replaces the existing e-mail dispatch channel, which was previously included free of charge. As a "Basic" license, the channel is still included for free in the ACC. With the "Advanced" license, additional acknowledgments from the participants can be processed through the channel.
