    Alarm Control Center V23 (from November 2022)

    In order to ensure reliable transmission of the alarms from the production control system to your end device, we annually update our Alarm Control Center. Each version includes numerous innovations that further improve the overall usability and functionality of the Alarm Control Center.

     

    Here you will find the most important new features of the Alarm Control Center in version V23:

    Facelift of the ACC user interface

    The ACC user interface has undergone a complete facelift for version V23. The new design impresses on the one hand with even more user-friendliness and on the other hand with a significantly higher color contrast for better readability - even in difficult lighting conditions.

    In the course of the facelift, dialogs, input fields and control elements were revised in a user-oriented manner and the header, the navigation bar, table views and the drag & drop functionality used were optimized.

    Our goal: to offer you an even more intuitive operation with an improved display. And all this in our new corporate design.

    Facelift of the ACC user interface

    • Language, password and logout time can be easily changed in the new user profile.
    • Quick access to documentation and contact information via the new help page.
    • Free configuration of the start page: Define yourself which page should appear after login.
    • Message texts can be searched in the archive using wildcards and regular expressions.

    Innovations in the ACC App

    The volume of the available ringtones in the ACC app has been increased to ensure successful alerting even in loud ambient noise.

    In addition, the ACC app has been supplemented with additional ring tones - each in a version "loud" and with "increasing volume". An increasing volume helps to prevent the ear of a person being alerted from being exposed to a ringtone at full volume, should they be in the middle of a telephone conversation. This gives them the opportunity to remove the smartphone from their ear in good time as soon as the ringtone sounds.

    In addition, the notification display of a disconnected internet connection has been optimized for version V23. It no longer appears immediately, but only after a few seconds if there is still no internet connection. Error messages are thus prevented.

    Innovations in the app

    Automatic backup according to own schedule

    Best protection against data loss: The new version V23 offers an automatic backup of your ACC configuration and the data contained in the ACC.

    The automatic backup takes place according to an individually defined schedule. The following intervals are available: daily, weekly, monthly.

    The backup data can be used to easily and quickly restore the current status of your ACC or to import it in case of a new installation. In this way, you are optimally protected against the loss of data or your configuration settings.

    Cooperation with the Swiss telecommunications company Swisscom.

    As of version V22, the Swisscom AG eAlarm alarm service can be connected to the ACC with the Swisscom eAlarm channel. With eAlarm, emergency services and employees can be alerted and notified quickly, easily and securely. The new channel enables messages to be sent to pagers, by e-mail or by SMS via the Swiss provider's network.

    New agent for Desigo CC

    The newly developed Agent Desigo CC serves as the new connection to the integrated building management platform from Siemens AG and replaces the previous connection via an ESPA 4.4.4 interface.

    The advantages:

    • The connection is made via the REST interface of Desigo CC. Messages can be received by Desigo CC and message updates such as "Message gone" can be forwarded.
    • The message text can be flexibly combined from multiple fields of the Desigo CC alarm.
    • Temporary suppression of message dispatch is possible using a variable.
    • The functionality of the agent is regularly reported to Desigo CC in order to quickly detect a failure of the agent and to react accordingly.
    • Monitoring-tests not only check the agent, but also the functionality of Desigo CC.
    • Optionally, reports of the Desigo CC system can be added to the ACC messages in PDF format as an e-mail attachment.

    The email channel and email agent impress with the latest technology and an extended range of functions. This includes:

    • Authentication via OAuth
    • Encryption via current SSL/TLS versions
    • Easier support and validation of certificates
    • Simplified configuration

    The new e-mail channel replaces the existing e-mail dispatch channel, which was previously included free of charge. As a "Basic" license, the channel is still included for free in the ACC. With the "Advanced" license, additional acknowledgments from the participants can be processed through the channel.
