ReferenceSeries change in automotive engineeringWhen changing series in the automotive industry, there are various tasks to be performed:Completely new production facilities are put into operation in the shell. Modern technologies are included on site, as well as in the communication with the control system. A connection of the new systems as well as signal and switching tests with the system manufacturer are carried out. The visualization is newly created for this area and the interfaces to other production areas are adapted. The factory calendar must be supplemented with new shift and switching models. In the area of painting, the new series will be processed with existing systems. For this purpose, these systems are adapted, new data points for the new series are added, inserted into the existing visualization and adapted after consultation with the system manufacturer. Data points of the old series are deparameterized. The conveyor technology remains the same for assembly, the robotics and handling systems are renewed or adapted. For this purpose, shift values such as target specifications, labels in the visualization are adjusted and switching times of interlinked systems are parameterized. The customer is supported in the preparation of evaluations in the various production areas. We have already managed several series changes for an automobile manufacturer. Both as the person primarily responsible for the re-connection of the shell construction and assembly, and as a service provider for the customer's project management. We incorporate the experience from these orders into new, similar projects on production control systems / manufacturing execution systems. What is your project about?
