With the new version of the Alarm Control Center (ACC), you benefit from the latest innovations in the field of alarm management, with which we prepare you specifically for the new economic boom. In this newsletter we will go into more detail about these innovations that the Alarm Control Center has in store for you.

  • Release ACC 5.2 on October 1st, 2019 with the following innovations:
    • Agent for OPC UA
      • Do you have different control systems in your production? OPC UA standardizes industrial connectivity and ensures interoperability between products from different manufacturers. We have now also implemented this standard in the ACC so that you can connect all systems and equipment to the ACC.
    • Channel for OPC DA
      • You want to set OPC variables to report a failed escalation to the controller? This is now possible in ACC V5.2.
    • Channel for Ascom OAP
      • The messages are shown on the called party's telephone display and can be accepted at the touch of a button. Terminals from the Ascom Unite Messaging System (UM) that can display text messages, such as DECT telephones and the “MyCo” WiFi smartphone, are supported.
    • Redesigned iPhone App for ACC V5.2
    • Option conference server SIP
      • In the clinical and care environment, in building technology or in production, do your experts need to exchange ideas quickly and find a solution? The conference server SIP offers you the option of automatically calling defined persons and connecting them to a conference.
    • ACC V5.2 is compatible with Windows Server 2019
  • Messe SPS – Smart Production Solutions 2019 in Nuremberg (Hall 6 Stand 235)

  • Discontinuation of Alarm Control Center V4.7 – V4.13
    • The following ACC versions are hereby discontinued. As of the date below, no more extensions will be available for these versions, and technical support will also be discontinued.
    • Discontinuation of ACC V4.7, V4.8, V4.10, V4.11 and V4.12 as of December 31, 2019
    • Discontinuation of ACC V4.13 as of September 30, 2020
