The agent for Microsoft SQL databases (MS SQL) creates messages based on entries in configurable SQL tables. These messages are then sent by Alarm Control Center (ACC) to the responsible persons. The agent supports all current Microsoft SQL Server.
The following systems can be connected, among others:
If a new entry is added to the configurable SQL table, the MS SQL agent is informed about it. The agent then generates a message for the Alarm Control Center and the participants are alerted.
If the message is processed or acknowledged, the agent can trigger “Message gone” and the corresponding column in the SQL table is updated.
The MS SQL agent documents all events surrounding a message, such as alarms and acknowledgments by participants, in a configurable SQL table.
If the number of entries in the table exceeds a specified number, the database is automatically cleaned up.
Increased reliability is ensured by the ACC Monitoring option. The option monitors all functions of the Alarm Control Center and also provides the following functionalities for the MS SQL agent:
