The PCS7 agent accepts messages from the process control system SIMATIC PCS7 and directs you to the Alarm Control Center continue. The agent enables you to react quickly and flexibly to reports.
It supports two modes: Configuration of the messages via the SIMATIC Manager and the Use of the ACC Control for PCS7 and WinCC.
In this mode, the PCS7 agent directly uses the SIMATIC Manager and the messages configured in it.
The configuration of which user text blocks the message text should consist of can be freely selected. Only one additional text block is required in the SIMATIC Manager to specify the alarm group, i.e. the group of recipients. Once this has been done, the agent can already react to alarms from PCS7, compile the message text from various user text blocks and send the message to the previously defined alarm group.
