The PCS7 agent accepts messages from the process control system SIMATIC PCS7 and directs them to that Alarm Control Center continue. The agent enables you to react quickly and flexibly to reports.
It supports two modes: Configuration of the messages via the SIMATIC Manager and the Use of the ACC Control for PCS7 and WinCC.
In this mode, the PCS7 agent directly uses the SIMATIC Manager and the messages configured in it.
The configuration of which user text blocks the message text should consist of can be freely selected. Only one additional text block is required in the SIMATIC Manager to specify the alarm group, i.e. the group of recipients. Once this has been done, the agent can already react to alarms from PCS7, compile the message text from various user text blocks and send the message to the previously defined alarm group. Of course, with the agent for PCS7 you can also Email Alert, one push message or a SMS alert to be executed.
The ACC Control enables quick and easy configuration of the alarm directly in Graphics Runtime.
The integration of the ACC Control into the Graphics Runtime connects the usual system image with the functionality of the ACC Control.
Changes or adjustments in the SIMATIC Manager are superfluous thanks to the integration of the functionality of the Alarm Control Center into your system image. The employees in the control room can react easily and flexibly to certain plant states and avoid unnecessary alarms.

Configure alarms directly and search for specific messages: A flexible search and filter function offers more clarity. The search and filter function specifically searches through all messages that are configured in PCS7 and simplifies the configuration of the alarm. For example, the messages of a sub-unit can be filtered and with just a few clicks all of these messages can be assigned to an alarm group from the existing alarm groups.
