With the agent for WinCC Unified PC RT, you can easily configure which information from the visualization system should be transferred to the agent and is therefore important for alerting via the ACC using the additional texts in the TIA portal.
The configuration of which user text blocks the message text should consist of can be freely selected. All that is required is an additional text in the TIA Portal in order to specify the alarm group, i.e. the group of recipients. The agent can already react to alarms from WinCC, compile the message text from various user text blocks and send the message to the previously defined alarm group.
The agent for WinCC Unified uses a freely configurable alarm filter to ensure that only relevant messages arrive at the participants and to reduce the message load. This allows the message types to be differentiated in a particularly fine-grained manner.
With the agent for WinCC Unified, you can easily configure which information from the visualization system should be transferred to the agent and is therefore important for alerting via the ACC using the additional texts in the TIA portal.
If a redundant WinCC Unified PC RT is used, the agent for WinCC Unified can also be designed redundantly and connected to the Alarm Control Center.
In addition, the agent can check whether a connection to the WinCC project is possible, no errors occur during access and at least one connection to an ACC could be established in order to transfer messages.
Monitoring can now be added to the WinCC project in order to read this status from a WinCC tag and thus check the functionality of the agent. This increases the reliability of your alarm and thus your entire system.
