Alarm IT Factory – how it all began

The success story of Alarm IT Factory in Stuttgart began in 2013. 10 years ago, Peter Gunsser took over the alerting software Alarm Control Center (ACC) from his former employer Siemens AG and founded Alarm IT Factory GmbH. The beginnings of the ACC itself date back to 1995 with the products Funkserver and FunkServerPro. In 2002, industrial alarming was to be raised to a new level at Siemens. The goal was a professional alarm solution for industrial applications that sends messages to the responsible groups quickly and reliably. The future system should also be modular, scalable and operable in the browser and provide interfaces to Scada and control systems such as WinCC and PCS7 as well as to telecommunications such as SMS and Voice Output . The solution was quickly found and implemented: the ACC. Already then involved was founder and managing director of the Alarm IT Factory, Peter Gunsser, as well as Davide Acquadro, second managing director since 2021.

Within a few years, the Alarm IT Factory grew from 6 to more than 30 employees and developed into a certified provider of alarm management solutions for Siemens products. With the business areas of alarm management (ACC) and control technology, the IT system house now offers software and services from a single source for many industries.
